Darling River

One of Australia's best driving adventures, the Darling River Run, crosses Outback NSW from Walgett (or Lightning Ridge) to Wentworth, over 730 km, along well-maintained dirt roads. The Run follows the Darling River, Australia's third longest (1,472km), and best experienced over two weeks, with longer itineraries adding more opportunities to enjoy Far West NSW. Driving along the Darling River is an Outback NSW adventure everyone should do at least once. It is a bucket list thing!

Corner Country

Few places in outback Australia are more iconic than Cameron Corner, and the region that radiates out from Cameron Corner is known as the Corner Country (An area encompassing New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia). While the Murray-Darling Basin does not extend to Cameron Corner, a lot of the Corner Country does, and some great touring routes link the two.

Murray River

Australia's Murray River, our longest river, and Darling River (our longest waterway) combine to form the backbone of the expansive Murray-Darling Basin (along with their respective tributaries). With such a diverse, expansive landscape that covers about 15% of the area of Australia, the Murray-Darling Basin lends itself perfectly to some great touring routes and those that are lesser-known that come from years of experience.

Australia

Australia is a land of great extremes, beauty and diversity, and it is a privilege to share images I have captured through the many online and print publications I have contributed to over the years. There are not too many places across this great country that I don’t get excited about photographing. Still, I have a special passion for all things outback, especially outback NSW and the regions along the Darling River and the Corner Country.

Paris

Iconic examples of Paris photography can be found all over the city, from the Paris Metro (Métro de Paris) to Montmartre (an area known as a place of artists, cafes, restaurants, and of life more Bohemian). And it is a great pleasure to exhibit Parisian photography prints.

Sweden

Scandinavians celebrate the summer solstice (longest day and shortest night) with Midsommar celebrations with a long winter behind them. It also marks the beginning of the traditional five-week summer holiday that empties the cities as the Swedes head to their summer houses (or places that will guarantee a good and warm summer.

Broken Hill

Broken Hill is a true icon of Outback Australia, sitting on an iron-rich red landscape under a big Azure sky... remarkable colours and contrasts are synonymous with Australia's Corner Country (and area radiating out from Cameron Corner, the place where the states of NSW, QLD, and SA meet).

Red Dust Snowtm best describes my passion for photography and touring I have experienced while evolving from a hobbyist to a professional; a journey that has so far taken fifteen years.
Even from a young age, I have always felt the power of the captured image and the shared experience. Memories of pouring over what seemed to be a vast catalogue of documentary books we had in the house are still vivid.
The name 'Red Dust Snowtm', sums up the diverse region of the Murray-Darling Basin... from the iconic red soils of the western region of the catchment to the snow-covered mountains of the east-southeast.
Add to that, my love for snow (and things sub-zero) is also a connection to my partner's birthplace, Sweden; a place I have lived and photographed extensively.
