The Mighty Murray, some may say the adjective is a cliche, but few adjectives fit so well with the name of our beautiful alpine-fed river that is also our longest.

As such, the towns that line its 2,500+ km journey from Mt Kosciuszko to Lake Alexandrina also take on impressive descriptions.

The diverse Murray River range from large cities like Albury-Wodonga and Mildura to historic riverports like Echuca and Swan Hill, to the lesser-known small towns like Tooleybuc and Jingellic.

These towns all have a story to tell and can be experienced via some great touring routes.
